Yokneam, Israel (December 8, 2016) - RealView Imaging Ltd. announced today a major technological breakthrough, allowing the company to introduce advanced holographic medical configurations and to address the professional and consumer markets, with new holographic Augmented Reality headsets.
RealView Imaging, one of the earliest players in the field of interactive holography, has already demonstrated the feasibility of using its innovative live 3D holographic visualization and interaction technology to guide minimally-invasive structural heart disease procedures. Recent advancements with its proprietary Digital Light Shaping™ technology will now open new frontiers for a wide range of Augmented Reality applications. The Digital Light Shaping™ technology provides a unique natural user experience, creating the first spatially accurate, three-dimensional interactive holograms. In addition, this technology uniquely enables close-range, direct manipulation of holograms, within hands reach.
