03 October 2017, Huntsville, AL USA — Jenoptik, a premier provider of industry leading solutions that solve multiple application challenges across numerous markets, announces the offering of quick turn silicon optics to future partners.
The new standard solutions offered by Jenoptik's Microoptics experts will allow customers to test development systems quickly and get to market with solutions in a fraction of the time required in the past. The three design offerings: Diode Coupler, Diode Collimator and Fiber Collimator will allow future partners solutions on many platforms in optical data transfer applications.
“With the constant demand to be the first to market, our three standard design offerings provide our partners a leg up on their competition. They will have the ability to test designs and /or build assemblies in a fraction of the standard lead time.” said Thomas Goundry, Microoptics Business Development Manager of Jenoptik Optical Systems, LLC.
The commercial off the shelf (COTS) collimators and couplers are designed to maximize performance in fiber and diode applications. These lenses will be available in volumes as low as 100 to provide benchmark testing, and up to hundreds of thousands for volume production.
Jenoptik looks forward to the new opportunities that these standard lenses will provide solutions for, and the partnerships that will be the result of their success. To download the data sheet please click here.
