Boynton Beach, FL – Tower Optical Corp. has announced the availability of a series of Super large 3 inch, zero order waveplates, air spaced, with a clear aperture of 73mm.  These waveplates are available in 4 inch mounting rings or unmounted. Tower’s large aperture zero order waveplates provide users with the capability of handling new applications where beam size and/or beam position moves over large distances.

These new waveplates are available for various wavelengths which include 405 nm, 532 nm, 632.8 nm, 800 nm and 1064 nm. In addition, as a custom order they can be had at any wavelength.  All waveplates are available with ½ or ¼ wave retardation. The large clear aperture accommodates large beam diameters and provides for large beam movement.
