[Besancon, June 11th, 2015] AUREA Technology will demonstrate “in live” at Laser World of Photonics 2015 at booth B2.261 the fluorescence lifetime measurement of PbS colloidal quantum dots in solution with its award winning TCSPC analyzer, the PicoXea. The PicoXea is the first all-in-one picosecond resolution Time Correlated Single Photon Counting analyzer, which fully integrated the within the same box; the world’s most advanced single photon avalanche photodiode (SPAD), high efficient picosecond pulsed laser source and Time to Digital Converter (TDC) technologies. In this lifetime demonstration, the 9 nm diameter quantum dots are excited by a low-power pulsed laser at 775 nm and the fluorescence lifetime is measured at 1,500 nm by the InGasAs Photon Counting system.
