Lyon, France – August 2 nd , 2017 – Varioptic - Invenios France SAS, announces the release of a new Caspian S-Mount lens, the Caspian S-25H0- 038 with 3.85 mm focal length.

Featuring a built-in Arctic 25H0 liquid lens, the lens is designed to provide full sensor coverage on a 1/3” format. The Caspian S-25H0-038 module is an ideal choice for highly demanding applications in terms of image quality, speed of focus and industrial-grade robustness. It is compatible with M12x0.5 mounts (S-Mount) and off-the- shelf FPC connectors. An optional IR-cut filter is available. This news lens is the perfect match for robotics, teleconferencing, security, machine vision, biometrics and medical imaging applications.

The Caspian S-25H0- 038 has a slightly smaller form factor than the Caspian M12-316- 3.7, with an improved operating temperature range. It has been designed to be compatible with its predecessor, so Varioptic customers can benefit from improved performance with hardly any redesign efforts.
