With its 3.7 mm effective focal length, the Caspian M12-316-3.7 adds a wider angle option to the successful Caspian M12-313-9.6 and Caspian M12-316-7.5.

Featuring a built-in Arctic 316 liquid lens, and compatible with up to 1/3” sensors, the Caspian M12-316-3.7 module is the perfect choice for highly demanding applications where image quality, speed of focus and industrial-grade robustness are a must, such as teleconferencing, security, machine vision, biometrics and medical imaging. It is compatible with M12x0.5 mounts (S-Mount) and off-the-shelf FPC connectors. An optional IR-cut filter is available.

The Caspian M12-316-3.7 can now be ordered from Varioptic and its distributors, as well as a Caspian Development Kit including 2 Caspian modules, a power supply with a choice of driver ICs, a connection cable, driving software and libraries, plus an extensive set of documentation.
