Largo, Fla. (January 14, 2014) – PIXELTEQ will demonstrate its new PixelSensor™ multispectral sensors at next month’s Photonics West 2013 in San Francisco. Demos at the PIXELTEQ booth #1723 (Photonics West) and #8604 (BiOS) will highlight the benefits of its multispectral sensors and cameras.
PixelSensor multispectral sensors use on-chip filtering to pack eight wavelength-selective photodiodes onto an array measuring less than 1cm, enabling simpler and smaller OEM optical devices. PixelCam™ and SpectroCam™ spectral cameras image spectral bands in UV, Visible, and NIR – SWIR for a variety of applications.
During the show, Eric Chandler, PhD, an Electro-Optical Scientist at PIXELTEQ, will be conducting presentations in the exhibit hall demo areas summarizing recent innovations and applications in multispectral sensing:
- BiOS: Saturday, February 1, 1:30pm in the BiOS Demo Area
- Photonics West: Tuesday, February 4, 3:30pm in Demo Area 2 (North Hall D)
At the collocated Electronic Imaging conference, PIXELTEQ will be demonstrating its PixelCam multispectral cameras and presenting its unique approach to delivering real-time multispectral imaging in a compact footprint. “Real-time compact multispectral imaging solutions using dichroic filter arrays” will be presented Thursday at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square, Continental Ballroom during the following sessions:
- Electronic Imaging Demo Session: Tuesday, February 4, 5:30-7:30pm
- Electronic Imaging Technical Presentation: Thursday, February 6, 10:50am
