Allied Vision Technologies has announced the release of eight new models from the Prosilica GT family of cameras for extreme environments.
The Prosilica GT cameras by Allied Vision Technologies are Gigabit Ethernet cameras designed to perform in extreme environments in temperatures from -20⁰ C and up to 65⁰C. The cameras feature PoE (Power over Ethernet), and auto-iris (P-iris and DC) lens control in the standard body GT camera, and Canon EF lens control in the large body GT cameras. The Prosilica GT cameras are ideal for a wide range of demanding applications including ITS & traffic imaging, machine vision, security, surveillance, military applications and more.
Prosilica GT2000, GT2050: CMOSIS CMV2000 and CMV4000 sensors
Two models come equipped with the CMV2000 and CMV4000 global shutter CMOS sensors from CMOSIS. The Prosilica GT2000 runs 50 fps at full 2048 x 1088 resolution, and the GT2050 25 fps at 2048 x 2048 resolution.
Both models are available in a NIR optimized variant that doubles the quantum efficiency at 900nm to from 8% to 16% absolute.
Prosilica GT3400: 9 Megapixel Sony EXview HAD CCD II sensor
The GT3400 is a 9 Megapixel camera equipped with a Sony ICX814 EXview HAD CCD II sensor, a device that provides excellent image quality, high sensitivity and near infrared response combined with low noise imaging and improved anti-blooming. The camera runs 13fps at full 3384x2704 resolution.
Prosilica GT4905, GT4907, GT6600: 16 and 29 Megapixel Truesense sensors
The Prosilica GT4905 and Prosilica GT4907 both feature a 16 Megapixel CCD sensor from Truesense Imaging. The Prosilica GT4905 comes with the KAI-16050 CCD sensor in APS-H optical (32.36mm) diagonal format with a frame rate of 7.5 fps. The Prosilica GT4907’s KAI-16070 35mm sensor is based on a new 7.4 micron interline transfer CCD platform that provides an impressive 40,000 electron well capacity, increased dynamic range, and high smear rejection as well as a frame rate of 7.6 fps at full resolution.
The 29 Megapixel Prosilica GT6600 features the KAI-29050 CCD device from Truesense Imaging, which, supported by the 5.5 µm pixel architecture from the KAI sensor family, provides high sensitivity and low noise performance. The Prosilica GT6600 camera outputs 6576 x 4384 pixels at 4 fps.
All three Truesense sensors feature a vertical overflow drain structure designed to suppress image blooming and enable electronics shuttering for precise exposure control. The cameras are equipped with an F-mount as standard, with a Canon EF motorized and M58 mount option available, and are compatible with a wide-range of high quality commercial and industrial lenses.
