Longwood, FL – March 6, 2023. Analog Modules, Inc. (AMI), a HEICO company (NYSE:HEI.A) (NYSE:HEI), is pleased to announce the release of its newest Hybrid Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder Receiver, Model 755A-04.1

AMI’s Model 755A-04.1 Hybrid Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder Receiver is its newest, offering enhanced sensitivity, overload recovery, and multiple target discrimination versus its field-proven predecessor Model 755A-04. It retains the same compact construction (Modified TO-8 header) and PCB mounting capability and is ideal for handheld and manpack applications requiring low SWAP-C. The 200 µm InGaAs APD provides outstanding sensitivity performance down to 3 nW for 20 ns pulse widths with time programmed gain to minimize false targets. A built-in discriminator reduces range walk for improved range accuracy with longer pulses. The false alarm rate is regulated for varying background noise and the APD has a built-in HV regulator with gain- temperature compensation. Outstanding dynamic range of 7 orders and fast double pulse recovery of approximately 10 meters is featured over that wide range. Nominal power consumption is only 50 mW and no TE cooler is required. Power voltage is not critical as a low headroom regulator is incorporated with EMI filtering. MTBF of 150,000 hours ensures high reliability for your critical military platforms and the construction has been tested in the field for over 20 years. Operation at both 1.06 µm and 1.54 µm is accommodated.
