Longwood, FL – January 13, 2021. Analog Modules, Inc. (AMI), a HEICO company (NYSE:HEI.A) (NYSE:HEI), is pleased to announce the release of its Picosecond Pulsed Laser Diode Driver, Model 767.

AMI’s Model 767 Picosecond Pulsed Laser Diode Driver is ideal for applications that require pulse widths less than 1 ns. Unlike gain-switched drivers which only produce a fixed pulse width and amplitude, the 767 uses AMI’s proprietary technology to offer user-adjustable pulse width and amplitude control via the on-board potentiometers. Laser optical pulse width adjustment range spans from <100 ps to over 1 ns at up to 3 A output current depending on the laser diode characteristics. Repetition rates from single shot up to 1 MHz are achievable across the full pulse width range. The 767 is provided in a compact OEM package that is compatible with many different laser diode package types and offers an easy-to-use interface only requiring a 5 V power supply and trigger source.
