The XRF Series consists of two types of fiber lasers: Fixed Pulse Width Fiber Laser (XRF) in 20 Watt and 30 Watt and the MOPA Fiber Laser (XRF-M) in 20, 30 and 60 Watts. Every XRF Series Laser is delivered with RMI Laser’s brand-new software; which interfaces with text files, XLS spreadsheets and SQL databases. The laser system supports multiple axis solutions, 3D engraving, along with serial and Ethernet communication. The user configurable I/O makes it easily integrate with automation.
The XRF Fixed Pulse Width Fiber Laser has been designed to be reliable, and economical with speeds up to 30% faster than previous generations. The components sourced for the XRF have been carefully selected to provide the most bang for your buck. The 200ns pulse width gives it superior high-speed metal engraving performance. The pulse frequency range of 1-400khz is wider than many other fixed pulse fiber lasers on the market, giving it more flexibility on a variety of materials.
The XRF-M is a Selectable Pulse Width (MOPA) Fiber Laser; it is a truly versatile Laser Marking System with the ability to mark on a wide range of materials. It has been known that Fiber Lasers were favored for engraving metals and Diode Pump Solid State lasers were preferred for plastics. With 15 selectable pulse durations, the XRF-M is the best of both worlds. You can select longer pulses for engraving metals and shorter pulses for sensitive plastics. The XRF-M can also create black, blue, green, red and other colors on steel.
