WALTHAM, Mass., May 25, 2016 – Qioptiq, an Excelitas Technologies® Company and global technology leader in delivering innovative optical and photonic solutions, introduces iFLEX-Agile, a high-power, continuous-wave Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO), which features optimized optics for a full wavelength range to enable seamless operation. This instrument’s high-precision optics ensure excellent focusing and consistent beam emission for superior accuracy.
Ideal for mass spectrometry, material testing, spectroscopy, and metrology applications, this new compact instrument allows fine-tuning of specific wavelengths from NIR to MIR, for very narrow output beams of high intensity. Fully controlled via USB computer interface, iFLEX-Agile enables rapid and reproducible settings of any desired wavelength from 1.47 – 2.0µm and 2.3 – 3.8µm, without the need to change optics or modules. iFLEX-Agile emission linewidths can vary from 500 GHz to below 1 MHz depending on the configuration and specific application.
The modular concept allows modification of wavelength tuning range, emission linewidths and output power levels to cost-efficiently meet the custom requirements for specific applications including trace-gas analysis, material inspection, chemical reactions and IR-detector calibration. The iFLEX-Agile can also be customized upon request for extended wavelength range (e.g. 740 – 950nm), narrow linewidth at 2300 – 3800nm, higher power levels, higher wavelength tuning resolution, and mode-hop-free tuning over ranges of >10GHz.
Qioptiq’s iFLEX-Agile will be making its global market debut at American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) 2016, booth #707, in San Antonio, TX, June 5-9th, 2016. For more information about Excelitas products, visit www.excelitas.com and www.qioptiq.com.
