The Warrior HWH provides distinct advantages over other available viewer technologies, including decreasing the time to identify, acquire and engage targets and reducing the risk of collateral damage. UTC Aerospace Systems is a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
The new high-resolution video system provides the ability to view all battlefield lasers during day or night operations. Battlefield laser aim points are easily identified, permitting faster target engagement than other technologies. The Warrior HWH is also capable of imaging through conditions that degrade other non-SWIR systems including haze, smoke and dust, providing enhanced battle damage assessment.
Target-accurate and field-ready, the Warrior HWH can simultaneously identify and track three designator codes, and operates up to four continuous hours at room temperature.
The rugged and modular viewer is available in handheld, weapon flip or helmet-mounted configurations.
The Warrior HWH offers the lowest light imaging capability that is available in a SWIR viewer (from 0.7 to 1.7 microns).
Three lens options are available: 7 degrees, 18 degrees, and 40 degrees. The versatile Warrior HWH module also includes a hot-shoe interface, an optional recording module with SD card, and an optional PRF decoder.

The Warrior HWH provides distinct advantages over other available viewer technologies, including visible, thermal and night vision (I2) systems. Battlefield laser aim points are easily identified day or night, reducing both the time to engage targets, and the risk of fratricide and collateral damage. Bright lights and flashes do not degrade performance, as is common with other types of viewer technology. The Warrior HWH is also capable of imaging through conditions that degrade other systems including haze, smoke and dust.
Sensors Unlimited Warrior HWH system will be showcased at the AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C., October 13-15, 2014. Please visit UTC Aerospace Systems’ booth # 6629.
