Freiburg, Germany. Z-LASER, a leading manufacturer of laser modules and laser systems, presents at Texprocess convincing laser positioning systems for the textile industry. The correct positioning of textiles is facilitated by using lasers such as our ZT product family; also using lasers can explicitly accelerate advanced working processes.
Laser model ZT – also announced as "The textile pro" – has been especially developed for the textile industry. No matter how different applications might be, the ZT laser is conceived to always adapt. The illuminating power can be individually adjusted to a pleasant red brightness on different working materials by the integrated transformer. In addition, the laser includes an exchangeable optic head. These optic heads can be quickly changed with a simple screwing mechanism adding various optics such as line, line with dot, cross or dot. The dot projection is often used as a position marker for shirt buttons, whereas short lines are used at sewing sites and crosses for printing applications to fasten material placement. With 14mm diameter and just 7cm in length, the small laser module only needs an operating voltage of 3-6VDC to show always glowing projections.
Even stronger lasers from other series of Z-LASER are used for spreading tables or presses. For long lines and big crosses there are various ZM18 laser modules, as well as for complex figures and large projections, laser projectors LP-HFD can be used; both product lines are available as red or green laser. Special requirements for housing or laser diode are always realized on customer request.
ZT – main features:
• Laser with exchangeable optics: dot, line, line-point, small cross or large cross
• Optical output power up to 5mW, red
• Adjustable light intensity
• Dimensions: Ø 14 x 69mm
• Supply voltage: 3-6VD
