During the last six years, JK Lasers has developed and introduced to the market a range of medium power (50 W – 1 kW) and high power (1 kW – 3 kW) fiber lasers for cutting, welding and fine drilling applications. This success means changes now for JK Lamp Pumped Solid State Laser (LPSSL) Nd:YAG product ranges: JK Lasers plans to phase out the CW LPSSL Product Line by the end of 2015, as outlined below:
CW LPSSL Timetable
• The CW LPSSL Line will be phased out by 2015 - applications for this product line are covered by existing JK Laser Fiber Laser products.
• JK Lasers will continue manufacturing CW LPSSL’s for OEM & repeat customers with confirmed blanket orders until the end of 2014.
• There will be a “Last Time Buy” date announced in due course for the receipt of
purchase orders for CW LPSS Lasers. In the meantime orders, will be taken as normal.
The JK3000FL is an example of the type of laser replacing it (a 3kW Fiber Laser – but we cover powers of 1kW to 3kW).
Pulsed LPSSL Timetable
• There is no change in JK Pulsed LPSS lasers, the product line will continue to be
manufactured until further notice.
LPSSL After Sales Support Policy
JK Lasers offer a minimum of a 10 year, non-warranty, Spare Parts, Service, and Repair Policy for all (CW & Pulsed) LPSS laser systems from date of purchase.
