KMLabs’s latest product builds – quite literally – on its successful high-performance Y-Fi product line that delivers the shortest, cleanest, multi-µJ fiber laser pulses. By incorporating a bulk white-light-seeded optical parametric amplifier (OPA) as a second layer on top of the small briefcase-size (30×40 cm) turn-key Y-Fi™ platform, KMLabs Y-Fi OPA™ provides infrared laser pulses, tunable from 1.3-1.8 µm (for the signal wave) and 2.4-4.5 µm (for the idler) – at MHz repetition-rates.
Ideal for two-and-three photon imaging, time resolved studies in the infrared and mid-IR, infrared supercontinuum generation, and many more demanding ultrafast applications, the Y-Fi OPA™ opens new frontiers for research.
