EAST GRANBY, CT –May 10, 2013–  Nufern, a leading U.S. manufacturer of specialty optical fibers, fiber lasers and amplifiers and fiber optic gyro coils, announced today it is expanding its line of fiber lasers to include a single mode 1064nm seeder and bench source for lab and production testing.

Over the years our team of scientists and engineers has demanded a single mode 1064nm seeder and bench source for all manner of lab and production testing and laser development. The most important and valuable feature is the reliable generation of a single-mode beam. Built with Nufern NuPower fiber for ruggedness and reliability and with a custom protection system this module is set for myriad applications from labs and QC to OEMs and educational institutions, when coupled with other Nufern components.

When combined with other Nufern components such as the Bench Bug and Coil Form this tool will find itself immeasurably useful in research labs and educational labs worldwide, as fiber lasers become part of the curriculum.
