SensUp has the pleasure to announce its presence at SPIE DCS 2017, the largest International optronic conference and exhibition for Defence/Security and Commercial sensing applications, which will be held from 9 to 13 April 2017 at Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California, United States.

On this occasion, SensUp will present in preview their latest product: the LRF 1550 SR+.

This new OEM Laser Rangefinder is meant as a solution for a big challenge: to meet the « SWaP-C » requirements of multi-function imagers and UAV’s optronic gimbals.
SensUp reports on a monostatic fully fibered Laser Rangefinder based on a one lens collimator used as the aperture of both the emission and reception channels.

This innovative design makes the system compacter and achieves a less than 200g full system weight while ranging more than 5 km on a NATO Target.

In addition to its low volume and high performances, the fully fibered architecture allows us to design a building block laser rangefinder with the collimator sub-system on one side and the laser and electronics cards module on the other side. Both are just linked up by an optical fiber!

This very flexible “kit” format enables us to make our Laser rangefinder compatible with any higher level optronic systems. Besides, no alignment is needed, and no parallax error is possible: the alignment between channels is guaranteed by design over the whole range!

With this new product, SensUp – a subsidiary of Keopsys Group, specialised in design and manufacturing of electro-optical systems based on laser technology – aims to become a leader of optronic market providers for Defence/Security and Autonomous Systems (UAV/UGV/USV) applications.
