It's the first Direct Imaging (DI) solution with superior throughput for new production technologies, mainly modified semi- additive process (mSAP) for advanced HDI and flexible printed circuits.

Orbotech is launching the Nuvogo Fine – this DI high-volume solution targeted at advanced manufacturing processes. The Nuvogo Fine enables the PCB manufacturing industry to support the production of thinner, flexible, high-density, high-functionality devices. This new DI solution sets a new industry standard in ultra-fine resolution with superior imaging quality and exceptionally fast throughput. By enabling extremely fast panel production speeds, the Nuvogo Fine accelerates time-to-market while ensuring a very low cost-per-print.

The recently launched, revolutionary Precise 800 is the first solution for the advanced HDI and complex multi-layer PCB manufacturing market, capable of both ablating excess copper (“shorts”) and depositing missing copper (“opens”), all in a single automated process. This AOS system enables accurate, high quality 3D shaping of the most advanced PCB designs, significantly increasing yield by eliminating PCB scrap. The Precise™ 800 addresses all defects including those on inner and outer layers, multiple lines, corners and pads.
