Quebec City, April 6, 2016 – INO is proud to introduce its new terahertz camera, the MICROXCAM-384i-THz. This camera can see through various materials in real time. INO will perform a live demo at the SPIE Defense + Commercial Sensing Exhibition in Baltimore, Booth 126, April 19 to 21, 2016.

Live see through-imaging

Due to its longer wavelength, the THz band offers unmatched penetration depth for seeing through materials such as fabric, ceramic, plastic, leather, or cardboard. The MICROXCAM-384i-THz is based on INO’s 384 x 288–pixel uncooled microbolometer FPA, and is optimized for the 70–3,189 µm/4.25–0.094 THz waveband. It provides live video images, letting the user literally sees through objects in real time.

This camera is the perfect tool for live detection of concealed objects, security screening, surveillance, and vision through camouflage. Its small footprint makes it easy to manipulate and/or integrate into larger detection systems.

See it with your own eyes

INO will be at SPIE Defense + Commercial Sensing in Baltimore, Booth 126, from April 19 to 21, 2016, and will demonstrate the capacities of the MICROXCAM-384i-THz to see through various materials in real time.
