Euresys s.a., Angleur (Liege), Belgium – July 4, 2014 – Euresys is proud to launch the Coaxlink Quad, first of a new series of four CoaXPress frame grabbers. This cutting edge frame grabber acquires images from the fastest and highest resolution cameras on the market.

CoaXPress is a high-speed interface providing data transmission between the camera and the frame grabber at up to 25 Gbits/s (4 x 6.25 Gbits/s). A simple standard coaxial cable supports data transfer, camera control, trigger and power supply (up to 13W per cable). Compliant with the latest CoaXPress standard (version 1.1), the Coaxlink Quad is equipped with four small DIN1.0/2.3 connectors, taking advantage of their robust push/pull latching system for easy installation in reliable industrial applications.

The Coaxlink Quad includes a feature-rich set of 20 digital input / output lines. Its PCIe 2.0 x4 bus offers a peak transfer rate of 2 GByte/s.
Another innovative feature of the Coaxlink series is the Memento Event Logging Tool. Memento records an accurate log of all the events related to the image acquisition, for debugging and optimization. An invaluable tool for developers, Memento provides them with a precise timeline of time-stamped events, along with context information.

Typical examples of applications for the Coaxlink frame grabbers are AOI, SPI and 3D SPI, printing inspection, Flat Panel Display or glass inspection.
