MONTREAL – June 12, 2013 – Matrox Imaging, a trusted supplier of machine vision components to OEMs, machine builders and integrators in manufacturing industries including packaging, will demonstrate vision hardware and software for traceability, inspection and guidance at ATX East (Philadelphia, June 18 - 20). Representatives from local authorized integrator Rumsey will be also on hand at the Matrox Imaging booth.
Visitors to booth 1830 will see multiple Matrox Iris GT smart cameras being monitored and controlled remotely from a single HMI application, which is included with Matrox Design Assistant 3.0 smart camera software. Design Assistant 3.0 is the latest release of the flowchart-based integrated development environment (IDE) for the Matrox Iris GT smart camera line, which makes it even faster and easier for users to create their application's flowchart and HMI.
Matrox Design Assistant 3.0 Highlights
Design Assistant 3.0 simplifies and accelerates HMI design with ready-made operator view layouts. The analysis status step consolidates decision making and simplifies flowchart design, while filmstrip views ensure that previously analyzed images are close at hand. Release 3.0 also permits monitoring and controlling multiple smart cameras via a multi-camera HMI application and provides support for PROFINET communication, which allows for direct interfacing to Siemens automation devices.
