Single Frequency 320nm is a long awaited wavelength within applications in Spectroscopy, Biotechnology, Analytics and Semiconductor inspections. For example, Biological Fluorescence, Holography, Raman spectroscopy, Photoluminescence, Rapid prototyping, Lithography and Optical data storage applications would greatly benefit from DPSS laser emitting at 320nm in CW Single Frequency regime in their labs.

UniKLasers Ltd. is expanding its CW single-frequency DPSS laser series towards the UV by introducing a new model at 320 nm. The Duetto 320-xxx with output power levels up to 250mW is the right candidate to replace the bulky and inefficient helium cadmium lasers, dinosaurs of the laser industry. For the cooling of the laser head just air convection is sufficient, no other provisions (chiller, fan etc.) are needed. The lasers offer an excellent beam quality with an M² below 1.1, a beam divergence below 0.5mrad (half angle), very low intensity noise below 0.1% (10Hz-10MHz) and an output power stability of +/- 1% (over 4 hours). Standard range models from 10mW to 150mW output power are available right now, higher power models up to 250mW are available on request. The foot print of Duetto 320 is ideal for space constrained applications – the entire system (Laser head & Controller) fits into a laptop sleeve.
