Newark, Delaware – February 18, 2015. B&W Tek, Inc., an advanced instrumentation company that delivers lab quality Raman spectroscopy solutions through user-friendly mobile platforms, is pleased to announce two new additions to Exemplar^® product line: the Exemplar Plus LS and the Exemplar Pro.

The Exemplar Pro is an ultra-cooled version of the Exemplar Plus with TE Cooling down to -25°C, which makes it the perfect solution for applications that require integration times over 30 minutes.

The Exemplar Plus LS offers similar benefits to the Exemplar Plus (such as a linearly summed detector for high dynamic range) but with an aberration corrected concave holographic grating to minimize stray light.

Like the Exemplar Plus, both units utilize TE cooled, high quantum efficiency detectors, providing superior data quality over the entire 190-1100nm spectral range. They feature high signal to noise ratio, making them ideal for low light level applications, and they also each feature a built-in shutter allowing for dark scan measurements, even while illuminated.

As members of the Exemplar product line, both the Exemplar Plus LS and the Exemplar Pro feature on board data processing, USB 3.0 communication and are optimized for multi-channel operation featuring ultra-low trigger delay and gate jitter.
