Chicopee, MA: Prima Electro will introduce its high performance CO2 and Nd:YAG solid state lasers at Laser World Of Photonics India, November 12-14, 2013, in the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) Pavilion Booth number D10. Located in the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, the exhibition is India’s premier show of the latest laser and photonics technologies held for the first time last year with over 120 exhibitors and nearly 3000 trade visitors.

Prima Electro is making its first appearance to introduce its advanced CONVERGENT laser technology to the rapidly growing Indian and Asian manufacturing industries. The Prima Electro’s laser products that will be highlighted during the exhibition are:
CONVERGENT CX and CV Series CO2 Lasers Provide Beam Characteristics
For The Widest Range Of Precision Cutting and Welding Applications

Prima Electro offers the CONVERGENT brand of CO2 lasers which provide beam characteristics that allow for the widest range of industrial material processing applications. These DC exited, fast axial flow laser models are currently available in models with up to 5,000 Watts average power and offer industry leading electrical efficiency. (Photo One)

The CX (2.5 – 3 kW) and CV (4 – 5 kW) Series CONVERGENT lasers are designed for precision cutting and welding applications involving a wide range and thicknesses of metal and alloys. CONVERGENT lasers provide beam quality optimized for cutting and welding and are based on unique resonator structure for fast warm-up and excellent temporal and spatial stability. These lasers have solid-state power supply for reliable, low maintenance operation. They feature a powerful control interface and low operating costs.

CONVERGENT Nd:YAG Lasers Provide Solutions For Challenging Drilling Applications
The CONVERGENT Model CL50k Nd:YAG laser is designed specifically for precision hole drilling, percussion drilling, drill-on-the-fly and trepanning. It delivers a combination of high peak power (50kW) and beam quality for drilling deep and high aspect ratio holes at shallow entrance angles. This laser is the choice of most leading aerospace engine manufacturers worldwide for drilling cylindrical and shaped holes in combustors and other hot section components. (Photo Two)  The CL50k includes two motorized telescopes, one internal to the resonator for maintaining constant beam quality over a wide range of average power and a second external to the resonator for controlling the diameter of the collimated beam.

CONVERGENT CL-R Nd:YAG laser from Prima Electro is the leading source for drilling turbine engine components among global aero engine manufacturers.

The Convergent Model CL-R is based on the CL50k and a direct field replacement for older solid state lasers from Prima Electro and other manufacturers such as GSI Group.  The CL-R laser provides opportunity to upgrade existing laser systems and increase their performance. In most cases, the CL-R laser is compatible with existing beam delivery hardware, existing drilling programs, and will operate with existing chillers.

The CL-R laser provides many laser processing advantages including the possibility of higher throughput and the ability to produce deeper and larger percussion drilled holes.

All CONVERGENT lasers are backed by a comprehensive two-year warranty.

Attending Laser World Of Photonics India 2013 and visiting with the Prima Electro laser professionals in Booth D10 will provide you with new solutions when your fabricating project requires new ways to work smarter, operate leaner and boost productivity.
