NANO-SATELLITE “HODOYOSHI-1”

Shinichi Nakasuka, professor in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Graduate School of Engineering
at the University of Tokyo has been leading development of Nano-satellite “Hodoyoshi-1” under the Japanese government
funded project, "New Paradigm of Space Development and Utilization by Nano-satellite" and has completed a flight model
of the satellite in cooperation with Next-generation Space Systems Technology Research Association (President: Koji Yamaguchi).
As announced on May 16, 2012, the satellite will be launched within 2012.
