MORITEX Corporation (head office: Asaka City, Saitama, Japan president: Takao Sato), a manufacturer of machine vision systems and image-related equipment, has supplemented its ML-U MP9 series of 1-inch CCTV lens compatible with 9 megapixel cameras with the addition of the ML-U0618MP9 and ML-U0814MP9 models with respective focal lengths of 6 mm and 8 mm.
MORITEX markets machine vision systems that combine various optical components, including light source devices, optical fiber light guides, machine micro lenses (MML), CCTV lenses, LED lighting devices, and CCD cameras, for image processing applications. These machine vision systems are used for image processing in various industrial applications, including semiconductor manufacturing, liquid crystal display manufacturing, electronic parts mounting, factory line monitoring, and other production activities.
Supplementing the conventional ML-U MP9 series with the newly announced ML-U0618MP9 and ML-U0814MP9 models enables inspections at short focal lengths across a wider field of vision at high resolution, for a broad range of possible applications such a monitoring equipment for the inspection of substrates, automotive parts, and foodstuff, etc., as well as usage in manufacturing and assembly lines. With the addition of the two ML-U0618MP9 and ML-U0814MP9 new models, MORITEX expands the line-up of the ML-U MP9 series to eight models with focal lengths from 6 mm to 75 mm.
