Videology Imaging Solutions is pleased to introduce a new wide dynamic range (WDR) board camera to its growing line of innovative WDR cameras. Videology’s WDR board cameras have assisted OEM customers to maintain quality images in the most demanding applications; some of which include ATM, retail kiosk, and traffic monitoring.
WDR technology creates video capture scenes that provide a quality display in both bright and dark areas. There are no black out areas, as often happens with standard cameras in certain lighting situations, such as sunlight behind a face. All sections of the scene are visible.
The Raven is Videology’s newest camera model (24C1.3XW) with a 1.3MP Sony sensor which provides a brilliant pure color solution for applications requiring HD analog output.
Maintaining a miniature profile, the Raven measures 32mm x 32mm. It has a DC iris lens control and an OSD control to access all features and optimization techniques. It yields 800TVL of pure color CVBS video in wide dynamic range to 93dB and has a broad range of white balance: from 1800°K to 10,500°K.
Great images with true colors are possible in areas lit with sodium lights (2200°K) as well as a sunny or cloudy (10,000°K) environment.
Critical and useful controls for optimum performance of this camera include:
- Highlight suppression for optimal low light level imaging… especially in traffic management applications
- Motion detection and alarms
- 8x digital zoom
- Lens focus assist and lens edge corrections
