JAI is displaying a complete line of vehicle imaging products ranging from integrated camera sub-systems to cutting edge camera components and high performance LED flashes.

COPENHAGEN – January 13, 2014 — JAI, a leading manufacturer of vehicle imaging systems and components, is exhibiting at Intertraffic Amsterdam from 25 – 28 March 2014.

JAI is the only industrial camera manufacturer to also offer a full range of vehicle imaging components, from complete integrated camera subsystems to cutting edge CCD/CMOS camera components, to high performance LED flashes - all optimized to provide industry-leading image quality results for exceptional ANPR performance in demanding ITS applications.

On display is VISCAM 1000, a new high resolution all-in-one imaging system suitable for video tolling, tolling enforcement, congestion charging, red light and speed enforcement. The VISCAM 1000 incorporates advancements in high performance video triggering, light sensing, dynamic range control, and other technologies designed to maximize the quality of images that are produced for automated number plate reading (ANPR).

JAI is also displaying its wide range of CCD/CMOS traffic camera components optimized for integration into third-party traffic vision systems. New are the Spark SP-5000 color and monochrome cameras built around 5 megapixel CMOS sensors. The Spark cameras incorporate a range of features such as automatic level control, built-in high dynamic range mode, P-iris control and extended temperature rating, making them ideal in harsh outdoor climates and traffic scenes with changing light conditions. Other camera components on display are JAI´s popular 8 megapixel traffic camera - the AB-800GE - and the new high sensitivity camera – the Elite EL-2800 with a 2.8 megapixel CCD sensor.

New on display are also a range of JAI´s LED flash/strobe illuminators available with white light, blue light or near infrared flash light all designed for illumination of traffic scenes in connection with electronic tolling, red light and speed enforcement, and many other ITS applications. The new flash units can be easily integrated with JAI’s VISCAM line of vehicle imaging systems, as well as third-party ITS systems needing a high performance and cost efficient lighting solution.
