Quantum Composers has launched a new ultra-compact, Nd:YAG MicroJewel laser. The MicroJewel will be the smallest addition to our growing laser division. At only 3 inches in length and weighing just 40 grams, and devlivering up to 8mL at 1064 nm, the MicroJewel is the ideal solution for integration into systems requiring a small footprint, or with limited space. The new passive Q-switched laser has an end-pumped diode for efficiency, with excellent thermal path for the diode and laser rod. It will serve a variety of industrial and laboratory applications including laser radar, breakdown spectroscopy, particle image velocimetry, cube satellite systems and more.
